This is how it all started.

After ten years of design development, validation tests, and struggling to find investment, we finally launched a crowdfunding campaign to run a pilot production of Mola Structural Kit 1.

This marked not just the beginning of our company, but the combination of years of hard work, and the collective effort of those who supported our vision to create a new way to learn, teach, and design structural systems.

We view crowdfunding not just as a means of raising funds, but as a way to directly involve those who have been with us every step of the way - crowdfunding is part of Mola’s DNA. That's why we continually choose to launch our products with this method. By doing so, we provide our community with the opportunity to have exclusive access to our latest innovations.

Mola Structural Kit 1

Crowdfunding Campaign

The Mola Structural Kit 1 was funded through a crowdfunding campaign, successfully concluded on November 16th, 2014.

The project completed the fundraising period as Brazil’s largest crowdfunding campaign, having received 1,524 contributions from all Brazilian states and 29 additional countries spread out on five continents.

Find out how a group of students brought together more than 160 people to support the first Mola crowdfunding campaign and provide students and professors with Mola Structural Kit 1 at the Civil Engineering Department, Federal University of Parana - UFPR. Curitiba, Brazil.

In 2016, we launched our second campaign for funding the production of three new products: Mola Structural Kit 2, Adjustable Length Bars and Lightweight Connections.

The campaign was successfully concluded on December 15th, 2016, reaching our own fundraising record!
